ADVENTUROUS YOSEMITE WEDDING
Ian and Shannon had dreamed of a Yosemite Wedding day for a long time. Shannon planned this day out in so much detail, and we were so excited to capture the adventure with them. They booked us for both photo and film, so we got to capture it all!
This was 100% a destination wedding. Shannon and Ian are from Kentucky. They traveled to California to start their lives together with their wedding in Yosemite. Even more, they had over 20 friends and family fly out to celebrate the whole weekend with them. They were so loved and celebrated!
They flew to Fresno, CA, rented an Airbnb up in Yosemite and let the celebrations begin! The ceremony was at sunrise, so it was an early morning for everyone. The joy and excitement were evident, it didn't even matter that it was 4:00 am.
The first look with the bride and groom is always a favorite of mine, I love capturing it. That emotional moment is timeless. Shortly after the first look, the ceremony was ready to begin. It was in Yosemite valley, with a backdrop of incredible granite mountains touching the sky.
After the ceremony and lots of hugs, laughter and some family photos, we went off to explore Yosemite with Ian and Shannon. From the cliffs of Taft Point to stunning views of waterfalls, and Half Dome, there is not a view that wasn't incredible.
We were so grateful to photograph and film this incredible Yosemite Elopement. We wish Ian and Shannon a future of adventures and a lifetime of love.
